Thanks to CF of the Brazilian RPG site .20, you can now read Gnome Stew articles in Portuguese. CF started with this one: Narrativa dos Jogadores, a translation of John Arcadian’s article Player Narrative, and there are many more translations in the works.
.20 is a Brazilian powerhouse, slick and polished — and they have even more authors than the Stew. I’ve worked with CF before, as he used to translate articles from my old blog, Treasure Tables, and I’m thrilled that he’s partnered with .20 to publish Stew articles in Portuguese.
Many thanks to CF and .20 for taking on this project!
Re: “gnomish wedding tackle” — Ew. Also, congratulations on the Googlewhack.
I’m the one who have to say thanks. You guys have been doing such nice work here in the Gnome Stew that I just felt I had to help out somehow. But since I’m not confident enough to write game advices on a regular basis or even write whole posts in english I felt that the best I could do was to try to take some of your tips and share them with my portuguese-speaking fellows.
Se. If we’re handing out thanks the first one have to go to you gnomes. Many thanks for not only sharing your toughts with the rest of the community but also for instilling in us this will to help our fellow gamers.
And if any of you guys reading this can also read portuguese: don’t miss out the next article this thursday. I can’t remember wich one it is. But I bet you all trust it’s source. 😉
Thanks, Martin.
But, hã, we aren’t Portuguese, you know, but Brazilian. We speak portuguese (or brazilian portuguese), but our country is like a thousand miles away from Europe.
@cf – It’s good to be working with you again, CF! Thank you very much for your kind words about the Stew.
@Nume – I was thinking primarily of the language; I know you guys are Brazilian. I see your point, though: .20 is a Brazilian site, not a Portuguese site. After I wiped the egg off my face I updated this piece as well as your entry on the translation page. Sorry about that!
