Hey Hothamwater! Mike is correct in that I was a bit underwhelmed by AOTA. I got stuck on Manus & Kalameet and then got sidetracked (by what I don’t remember) and just never got back to it.

However, I did defeat Artorias himself. I can definitely see how that fight would have been awesome back when the DS1 was released, but coming to it in the ass backwards way that I have after experiencing the series’ more advanced duels like Fume Knight, Gehrman, and Maria, I wasn’t as wowed as I probably should have been.

Also, Sinh is better than Kalameet. Sorry Mike.

Hi, thanks for a large article. Personally I like DS2, because this game is more interesting and better configured than DS3. Afkors, I can’t disagree that DS3 has really nice mechanic changes.

I enjoyed DS1 a bit more DS2 was better in many thigns but they screwed up heavy equipment DS3 only has a few new mechanics I like. I think DS2 was the best mechanic implementations over all but DS3 has some nice mechanic changes.I wish you could aim with the binoculars like in DS2…
