Just wanted to say, I received a free Samsung Gear VR set. Arrived about a month ago. Have used it twice, yet not to play any games. Not to say I don’t want to try out a game, just currently I have a “meh” feeling towards it all.

Did watch a Jurassic Park dinosaur encounter. That was pretty radical, but not interactive.

The funny thing is I didn’t even mean to despise so many games. There were just a lot of things announced or talked about that I didn’t care much for. I swear I’m excited for some stuff – Dishonored 2, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Inside, Resident Evil 7, Here they Lie, Watch Dogs 2 … I just didn’t have time to talk about everything I liked. Hah. Oh well, I’m glad you enjoyed it, sir.

Thanks Tom. Usually we record on Saturdays, and I’m now trying to edit my shows on the following Tuesday, which is my first “free” night to do so. I know it’s weird when we record and then don’t post for 10 days.

I’m kind of into what Microsoft is doing (“More Power!” isn’t a bad thing in my book) but like the rest of the crew I’ve barely touched my Xbox One in the six months I’ve owned it. I played through the disappointing Rise of the Tomb Raider and that’s it. I’m kind of glad “Inside” is an XBO exclusive so I have an excuse to power the thing on.

The Gauntlet was a lovely idea derailed by our complete ambivalence toward “Nier 2: Return of Nier.” I pre-loaded it into the bracket assuming Brad would all but ask it to marry him on the show. Felipe and I should have slipped something else into its slot but we just weren’t fast enough on our feet. (Our three feet, as Felipe only has one foot.)

No specific task for comment discussions, Pedro, I just want to see a lot of comments! Thank you!

Excellent show, cheers. Enjoyed Corey’s contribution as he displayed a satisfactory amount of hatred/disdain at various times; it’s like the torch has been passed.

Unfortunately I’ve forgotten what it was you asked us to discuss in the comments, Tim, but good work.

Way quicker then before and super appreciated.

On what media to check for gameplay coverage at E3, The PS4 has a E3 live cast similar to Gamespot and IGN – But I think better. Don’t watch live, watch the replay. Too much downtime.
For eg with Gravity Rush 2, the Live Cast got a live demo of the opening part of the game, instead of game spot and IGN getting the same pre-played video replay of the game.
Same live gameplay for a couple of other big games.

There’s far more indies covered as well.
Aragami: A 3D stealth game Similar to mark of the ninja, that has one hit kills, the Blink ability from Dishonered as well as other powerful stealth abilities.
Made by small team and seems a little bit rough and not well animated or polished, as though the walking dead team made an aggressive stealth game.

Cryptark is a 2D shooter that looks like a good merging between Axiom verge and Galak-z.

Rain World and Deaths Gambit was show as well.

I’m looking forward to the next powerful consoles because current console graphics are still not close to a mid-range PC. I just bought Doom again on PC 2 hours ago and it looks far better than when I played it on the PS4.
Another reason the Xbone wants the ‘ most powerful ‘ console, is that in polling of why gamers pick the PS4 over Xbox, the largest reason given is that the PS4 has more power.
Frankly, in console sales, the PS4 is slaughtering the Xbone and now Xbone is desperate, and the PS4 wants to ram home the advantage.
And I think it’s a well-deserved thrashing after Microsoft declared class war on gamers consumers rights 2 E3’s ago. Can’t believe some gamers still call it ” mixed messaging ” instead of attack on consumer rights.
I’m still waiting for my Australian government to condemn Microsoft and put a prospective ban on any future moves. Yeah right. My grandkids will be waiting too.
