On the flipside, if you are as Mecha-obssessed as the main character of Dai-Guard, and you dream of one day being reincarnated as a Gundam, you will NEVER regret purchasing Steel Battalion. I bought Steel Battalion even though it meant not having enough money to buy the Xbox to play it on. I knew I could get the Xbox later. Steel Battalion called to my soul, and I knew I NEEDED to have it. I still have it in my closet. Original Release with the green buttons, which look WAY better than the blue ones. I’ll pull it out when I retire, and play the HELL out of it. It will be glorious!

i recently found a steel battalion controller for 20 bucks at the local goodwill. it had been neglected, a bit of surface rust, i didn’t think it would work but decided to chance it. bought the game on e-bay for another $45 tried it all out, and it works flawlessly, built a custom table for it, and i am totally hooked. just a damn shame the franchise has been killed due to myopic bean counter corporatocracy. cheers

This controller has all that is needed for deep simulation computer games such as MechWarrior Online and Kerbal Space Program. In fact, just about any Mecha game on the computer that will work with an XBox 360 controller can be used with this controller. I am currently saving the money to get my hands on one for this purpose. If only I had bought it when the price was only $200. You should be proud.
